CRISCO PIE CRUST

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¾ cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 5 tablespoons ice water

Directions

  • Cut the Crisco into the flour and salt with a pastry blender. Using a fork to mix, add the water and stir until blended. This will make a crust for a double 10 inch pie.

Notes

I have tried many recipes for pie crust and this is the one that works best for me. It makes a nice flaky crust.
