1 cup Smucker’s Smooth or Chunky Natural Peanut Butter
½ cup butter
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 Tablespoons water
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Cream together peanut butter and butter.
Add sugars gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
Add water, vanilla, and egg; beat well.
Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; stir into peanut butter mixture.
Shape into 1” balls and place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
Flatten with a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
Bake in a 375° oven for 10-12 minutes.
