Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings
4-6 pcs. chicken, which ever parts you like
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 c. chicken soup stock. or chicken soup base & water
Biscuick recipe for dumplings
Mix soup & stock, add chicken parts & cook on low for 8-9 hours
Remove chicken & keep warm. Remove broth to saucepan & heat to boiling. Dip spoon into broth, then take small spoonfuls of dumpling dough & drop into broth. repeat until dough is used up. Cook for 6-8 minutes, cover & cook for another 6-8 minutes. Remove dumplings & thicken broth.
Gravy can be used over mashed potatoes too.
