Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2-inch strips
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp garlic olive oil
1 tsp beef bouillon grandules
1/4 cup hot water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 large green bell peppers, roughly chopped
1 can rotel, undrained
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
4 cups cooked white rice


Directions

Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker. Mix bouillon with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, rotel, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serve over cooked white rice. Makes 6 servings.
