CROCKPOT PINTO BEAN SOUP

  • Preparation Time: Overnight

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pinto beans
  • 1/2 C safflower oil
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 Can tomato sauce (small can)
  • 1 large green pepper chopped
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 1/2 C Brown Sugar
  • 2 TBL hickory sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

Directions

  • Wash beans and soak overnight
  • Rinse again and place in crockpot
  • Cover beans with water
  • Mix in all ingredients
  • Cook on low 5 hours or until tender
