CROSS CREEK KEY LIME PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 14 ounce can sweeten condense milk
  • zest of 6 key limes
  • 1/3 c key lime juice
  • 3 egg yolks beaten
  • 1 1/2 t 151 white rum
  • dash of orange curacao
  • 1 9 inch graham cracker crust
  • 1/2 pin heavy cream whipped w/ 2T powdered sugar and 1 T rum

Directions

  • preheat oven 325 F
  • pour sweetened condensed milk into a large bowl. add the zest and key lime juice, beat in egg yolks. add the overproof rum and orange bitters. pour into pie shell. bake 8-10 minutes. top with fresh whipped cream chill until set about 4 hours
