CROSS CREEK KEY LIME PIE
Cross Creek Key lime pie
from key lime cookin...another one for annietx
INGREDIENTS
- 1 14 ounce can sweeten condense milk
- zest of 6 key limes
- 1/3 c key lime juice
- 3 egg yolks beaten
- 1 1/2 t 151 white rum
- dash of orange curacao
- 1 9 inch graham cracker crust
- 1/2 pin heavy cream whipped w/ 2T powdered sugar and 1 T rum
DIRECTIONS
preheat oven 325 F
pour sweetened condensed milk into a large bowl. add the zest and key lime juice, beat in egg yolks. add the overproof rum and orange bitters. pour into pie shell. bake 8-10 minutes. top with fresh whipped cream chill until set about 4 hours
