Why I Love This Recipe

I made this one up -- I think it turned out nicely!

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup ( 2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups Jif extra crunchy peanut butter
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt.

12 ounces premium dark chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 350

Butter a 17 x 11 baking pan

Cream butter on medium high speed.

Slowly add sugars and mix well.

Beat it eggs.

Add vanilla extract.

Add peanut butter, beating until well mixed.

Add flour, baking soda and salt, mix well.

Spread in pre-butter baking pan.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes depending on how hot your oven gets.

After removing from oven, let cool for a minute or so and then pour chocolate chips evenly over bars. Within a minute or so the chocolate will be melted and you can spread over the bars.

Let cool. Eat. Enjoy!
