CUCUMBER RELISH

Ingredients

  • 12 cucumber, sliced
  • 4 onions sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric

Directions

  • Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onion and let styand for 2 hours. Drain.
  • Mix with remaining ingredents in saucepan and boil for 8 minutes and pack into 4 pint jars. Let stand in frig at least 3 days.
