DRY FRUIT PULLAO– RAJASTHANI RECIPE

Ingredients

INGREDIENT

1. Basmati rice 2 cups
2. Chopped almond ½ cup
3. Chopped pistachio 1 tbsp
4. Chronji (charoli) chopped ½ cup
5. Saffron 1 pinch
6. Milk 4 cups
7. Nutmeg powder 1 tbsp
8. Cardamom powder 1 tbsp
9. Sugar 2 cups
10. Dasi ghee 1 cups
11. Rose water 2 tbsp


PROCESS



• Clean rice and sock in water for 2 hours


• Drain out the water and spread rice over a flat and broad tray


• Marinate rice with salt and sugar


• Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add rice, fry for few minutes


• Add milk and cover the pan


• Cook rice and add all fruits and powdered spices, stir well


• Add saffron and rose water
