Danny's Perfect Chocolate Cake

Serves | Prep Time | Cook Time


2 cup Sugar
1 3/4 cup Flour
3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
2 Eggs
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Oil
2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Boiling Water
Cocoa Powder
Powdered Sugar

Oven Temperature: 350°F

*Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

*Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla

*Put 1 cup water in microwave on high for 2 minutes - during this, mix bowl (this helps you know you stirred mix for 2 minutes and heats water all at once)

*Stir in water, slowly

*Pour in greased and floured pans - I usually make as bundt cake

*Bake until wooden pick comes out of center without being gooey, depending on pan how long (the bundt cake I start checking at 35 minutes)

*Cool and then drizzle with chocolate


*Mix cocoa, powdered sugar, and water until desired taste and consistency
