- 1 stick margarine/butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups chopped dates
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pkg coconut flakes
- Mix the margarine, sugar, egg and dates in a pot.
- Cook on low heat till you have a smooth mixture (10-15 minutes).
- Remove from heat.
- Add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla to mixture. Form small balls and roll in coconut.
