Why I Love This Recipe
I'm so excited to add this recipe to my collection! I went shopping at my favorite used bookstore today and I found this wonderful Florida cookbook from 1938. Yes, 1938. These recipes are just fantastic and I can't wait to try more but for now I'll just give you this one. Very heavy and rich. Definately not for the "light hearted". This is one of those cakes that just makes the whole house smell like grandma's in the kitchen! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did... I'll be adding more wonderful "old" recipes shortly!!!
