Decadent Chocolate Delight

Dessert 

• 1 (standard size) package chocolate cake mix
• 1 pint sour cream
• 1 (5-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
• 1 (6-ounce) bag chocolate chips
• ¾ cup oil
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup water
• Ice cream, for serving (optional)

Grease a slow cooker; mix together all the ingredients, except ice cream, and put in slow cooker. Cover, and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours. Do NOT lift lid to look. Serve immediately with ice cream. Leftovers can be stored in refrigerator.

I saw this recipe being prepared on a PBS special several years ago and have really enjoyed. I use a 3 quart crockpot and the time is just right. If using a larger one or one of the newer crockpots, you may have to adjust your time.
