Double Chocolate Chess Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup creme de cacao liqueur
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 pie shell, pre-baked
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips, semisweet

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 F


2. Place medium saucepan over low heat. Melt butter & chocolate and remove from heat.


3. Blend in sugar, eggs, liqueur, flour, vanilla, and salt. Beat until smotth.


4. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set.


5. Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes. While still hot, spread the chocolate morsels on top.
