DREAM CAKE WITH DATES, BANANAS AND CHOCOLATE
Dream Cake With Dates, Bananas And Chocolate
- 3 Eggs
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 100g Dark Chocolate chopped
- 2 cups Dates chopped
- 1 - 2 Bananas sliced
- Now make an egg creme:
- 2 egg yolks or 1 egg (note use Organic)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 deci litre (1 cup) whipping cream, whipped
- Chocolate creme:
- 200g dark Chocolate
- 4 tbsp water
- 2 egg yolks or 1 egg
- 2 tbsp wipped cream
Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, add sifted flour, baking powder chocolate and dates and combine well.
Put in a round cake pan that has been buttered and dusted with flour, (medium size) and bake at 175°C for 30 to 40 minutes or until a pin comes out clean.
Now comes more fun :)
Slice the Bananas and add them tightly together on the bundt.
Now make an egg creme:
Beat the egg whites for 4 minutes, then add sugar and beat another 4 minutes til very stiff and the sugar has dissovled.
Bake for 2 hours at 100°C
Place the Merengue Bundt on top of the Egg creme. Now comes 2 1/2 deci litres (1 cup) Whipping Cream (Whipped)
On top of that: Chocolate creme:
Melt the Chocolate and combine all ingredients carefully. Let cool a bit before put on top of Whipped Cream on the cake.
It´s great to let stand a few hours in the fridge before serving.
Now you can serve with a smile on your face!
So here it is, and even very easy to make! Just takes some time.
