Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

2 ducks
1 lrg. yellow onion (chopped )
3 ribs celery (cut lrg. pcs.)
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 sml. Cans sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup light cream
1 tsp. parsley (chopped)
1 pk. Uncle Ben's rice
Salt & pepper to taste


Directions

Boil duck in water with the cut onion & celery 1-1/2 hr.


Remove duck, let cool & debone,


set meat aside.


Cook rice according to pack..


Melt butter in a skillet & sauté


onions for 4 minutes then stir in


the flour & add mushrooms with


The liquid. Add cream, parsley,


salt, pepper,


Cooked rice & duck meat in a 2-


quart dish. Sprinkle with slivered


almonds.


Bake @ 350 degs. For 25 minutes
