Ingredients You'll Need
Cake:
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts preferred)
1/2 t. salt
4 c. apple slices
2 c. flour
Icing:
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 T. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
3 oz. package cream cheese, softened
Directions
Beat salad oil and eggs until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla, beating again. Then add dry ingrediants. Stir until well blended. Fold in nuts and apples. Bake in buttered 9x13" pan at 350 F for 1 hour. Spread icing gently as soon as out of oven.
