E Z SWEET PICKLES
- 1 qt. dill pickles (I've used kosher-type and they work just as well!)
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cidr vinegar
- 3 sinnamon stix
- 8 whole cloves
Empty juice from pickles and cut them into chunks. In jar, mix together all ingredients. Return pickle chunks to jar and invert jar several times to coat with the syrup. Refrigerate, remembering to shake the jar every day to dissolve the sugar. Do this for 10 days and voilá, sweet pickles!
I'm not a big fan of sweet pickles, but these are really, really good!!
