Why I Love This Recipe

When I need dinner ready quickly - say in under 30 minutes, turkey meatballs in a super easy tomato sauce served with some sort of pasta is super easy.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb ground turkey (or beef, chicken, lamb, pork, etc...)
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tbsp Italian seasoning, separated
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
A few tbsp Olive Oil, for sauteing

Directions

Form the meatballs with the turkey, cheese, bread crumbs, 1 tbsp seasoning and egg. Saute in olive oil over medium high heat, browning on at least 3 sides. Remove from pan and set aside.

Add the 2 cans of tomatoes to the pan stirring in the remaining seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add in the meatballs. Simmer another 10 - 12 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

Serve with pasta or gnocchi.
