Easy summer side dish

Why I Love This Recipe
I love olives. Just about any kind. This is a great recipe to make for a summer barbecue or as a picnic side dish. I can't recall where this recipe came from. I think it was a magazine, but it's one that I've made often and is always a big hit, especially with people who like olives. The great thing about it is that it can be served warm or cold and it gets better overnight as all the flavors mix together.
Ingredients You'll Need
Orzo pasta
Calamata olives, pitted
Olive oil
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley, as garnish
Directions
Cook up as much pasta as you think you will need for the group you are serving. I generally make 1/2 pound to feed 8 people. It's just a side dish.
Chop up olives. For 1/2 pound of pasta use about 1/4 pound of olives
Drizzle a few tablespoons of olive oil over the dish and toss the pasta and olives. Add salt, pepper, a pinch or red pepper flakes and some chopped parsley and serve warm or cold.
It's very tasty!
