EAZY CHILLED TUNA SALAD ... ALL WILL LOVE!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Pasta Shells of your choice
  • 2 Cans of Tuna; drained
  • 2 Cups of Frozen Peas; thawed
  • 1-2 Cups of Mayo (Hellman's is the best, you know)
  • Salt

Directions

  • Place your Frozen Peas in a bowl of Cold Water to Thaw
  • Begin to Cook your shells as directed
  • Strain your Pasta and leave in the strainer
  • Pour your defrosted peas over the noodles to drain
  • Rinse with cold water
  • Drain your tuna
  • Combine Shells, Peas, Tuna, and Mayo
  • Season with Salt to taste
  • Chill in Fridge until cold and serve

A Family Favorite when no one knows what they want for lunch!

This was a recipe that my mom made me as a kid over and over... you can serve this hot as well (with cheese sprinkled on top)

I have used all kinds of pasta noodles, but our family favorite is the SMALL SEASHELL STYLE of noodles! We love these because when you strain the pasta shells, you can leave them in the strainer and then pour your frozen peas (that are now defrosted) over the noodles and run cold water over both. After a few minutes you will notice that the peas are now nestled inside the pasta shell ... (as if I placed every pea inside)
