This has great flavor for add to the stuffed sweet potatoes or on enchiladas. Stores for a week or so in the refrigerator
Ingredients You'll Need
3 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon Chili Powder (more if you want)
1 teaspoon Ancho chili powder
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoon wondra flour
6 ounce can of tomato paste
2 cups of chicken stock
Directions
In your sauce pan add oil over meduim heat to make a roux
add flour
stir 2 minutes until hot
turn heat to low
add chili powders, oregano, cumin, onion powder, sugar
whisk until bubble,
add chicken broth
boil for 3-5 minutes it will thicken up.
Store or serve
