- 3lbs. cabbage
- 1 pod of sweet pepper
- 1 med. size onion
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- Chop; Cabbage, pepper, onion.
- Mix with 3 tablespoons salt.
- Let stand 15 minutes.
- Squeeze out water.
- Mix with sugar and vinegar.
- Put in a covered dish- Let stand 24 hours.
NotesThis recipe was given to me by my Father, I don't know where he got it.
It's very good if you like your slaw a little tangy.
