Why I Love This Recipe

"Adapted from Chevy's Freshmex Cookbook...even people that don't like 'yuckamoly' try this and like it...and if they still don't like it then they won't like guacamole ever" ~ Judy


Ingredients You'll Need

2 Avocados
1 small Tomato, Finely Diced
1-2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Olive Oil (Optional, does seem to help with taking longer to turn brown if use oil, I hardly ever add it though because it doesn't hang around long enough to worry about browning)
1 tsp Salt
1 Jalapeno, Minced
Ground Red Pepper, To Taste


Directions

*Cut and score avocados and use spoon to scoop out from skins


*Add rest of ingredients and stir gently to mix up, but not completely mash


Recipe Tips:


*Using a garlic press makes the garlic size ideal and a kitchen chopper helps get the jalapeno super small


*If not spicy enough, add a tiny bit of ground red pepper to kick up the heat


*Also great with Lime Juice
