FALL AND WINTER PUNCH

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1-1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • cinnamon sticks (optional

Directions

  • Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup water, salt and spices in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Put cranberry sauce in a bowl and crush with a fork. Add 1-1/2 cups water and beat with a rotary beater until smooth. Add cranberry-water mixture and pineapple juce to hot spiced syrup and heat to boiling. Serve hot, using cinnamon sticks for stirrers if desired. Serves 8.
