Ingredients You'll Need
2 qts. figs. w/stems
1 lemon , sliced
1-1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup water
soda
Directions
Rinse figs & drain, cover w/ soda
the sink, then cover w/
boiling water & let stand 5
minutes.
Remove figs & rinse, cut off
stems.Make a syrup of the water
sugar. Cook until sugar is well
melted, stir. Add figs & Sliced
lemon. Cook slowly until clear,
about 1- hr
