First Aid Flank Steak Sandwiches
1/2 cup canola oil
2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp sherry
1 tsp Paprika
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 lb flank steak
creamy spicy horseradish
butter or margarine, melted
In a large bag or bowl combine first 9 ingredients, mix well.
Add steak & seal bag or cover bowl with sarah wrap.
Marinate at least 1 hour.
Remove steak & set marinade aside (to use for basting).
Broil steak 2-3 inches from element in a broiler pan for about 6 minutes or until thermometer registers 125 degress.
Set flank steak aside to cool.
Brush insides of rolls with melted butter or margarine.
Broil or grill rolls until toasted.
Spread with horseradish cream & top with tomato and lettuce.
Slice flank steak across the grain and place on rolls.
