  • 7 or more apples, however many you want to fill your pan
  • 3 Tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon x 2
  • 1 Cup oats
  • 1/2 Cup butter or margarine


  • 1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C), or 350F (175C) if using a dark pan
  • 2. Peel, core, and slice the apples
  • 3. Sprinkle the white sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon on the apples and toss gently
  • 4.Layer the sliced apples in a 9x13 inch baking pan
  • 5. In a medium bowl combine the brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and oats
  • 6. Cut the the butter into the oat mixture
  • 7. Sprinkle oat mixture onto the apples
  • 8. Bake for 45 minutes or until topping looks crunchy and apples are tender


*Top with ice cream, whip cream, or vanilla yogurt.
