- 600 grams of french beans
- 150 ml. of water
- 3 cloves of garlic, squeezed
- 1 tablespoon of lemonjuice
- salt according to taste
- half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper or a fresh Spanish pepper/chili, chopped
- salt to taste
- 75 ml. of olive oil
- half a teaspoon [or more if you like] cummin seeds
DIRECTIONS
1 mix water, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl
2 heat the oil in a pan and fry the cummin seeds for a few seconds in the hot oil.
3 add the french beans and stirfry for two minutes
4 put the watermixture in the pan and cover
5 bring to the boil, turn the heat low and simmer gently for 15 minutes
6 uncover, turn the heat up and cook the liquid down till only a little, keep moving the beans in the meantime
