FRESH PEACH COBBLER

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tb. cornstarch
  • 1/4 - 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 4 c. sweetened sliced peeled peaches
  • 1 Tb. butter
  • 1 Tb. lemon juice
  • Batter Topping
  • 1 Tb. granulated sugar
  • Spiced Honeyed Cream

Directions

  • Mix cornstarch, sugar and water. Add peaches and cook until
  • mixture is thickened, about 15 minutes. Add butter and lemon juice. Pour into an 8" round baking dish.
  • Drop spoonfuls of Batter Topping on top of hot peach mixture. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in hot oven (400ºF.) 40 - 50 minutes. Serve warm, in bowls, with Spiced Honeyed Cream.
