1 head cabbage, sliced
1 pound bacon, cut in 1ʺ pieces (use the grease)
2 large onions, sliced
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Brown bacon in large pan; remove and drain off most of the grease (leave enough grease to coat the bottom of the pan).
2 Add onion and sauté lightly until limp.
3 Add sliced cabbage and brown sugar; cover and cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes (may need additional bacon grease), stirring occasionally.
4 Return bacon pieces to pan and heat.
