1 head cabbage, sliced
1 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces (use the grease)
2 large onions, sliced
3 tablespoons brown sugar
Brown bacon in a large skillet; remove and drain off most of the grease (leave enough grease to coat the
bottom of the pan). Add onion and sauté lightly until limp. Add sliced cabbage and brown sugar; cover
and cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes (may need additional bacon grease), stirring
occasionally. Return bacon pieces to pan and heat.
