  • 2 lb of bok choy
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 oz ginger (2 thumb size pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 packages wonton wrap


  • Mix all in ingredients (except for wonton wrap) in large bowl.
  • Wrap wontons
  • Heat up pan with one tablespoon oil
  • Place wontons in pan
  • Add half a cup of water
  • Cover until water has evaporated
  • Open lid of pan, let the wontons brown
  • Flip wontons
  • Cook until browned


Recipe started by Grandma in Shanghai, brought over to America where very little changes have been made. Originally the recipe calls for ground pork, however we have made the substitution to turkey.
