Frosting with a Fluff
1-1/2 Cups of white sugar
1 Tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Tablespoons of water
2 beaten egg whites
Cook sugar, vinegar and water to hard ball stage.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Pour hot mixture in thin stream into egg whites, beating constantly.
Add vanilla; beat untiil it is of desired spreadable consistency.
This will yield enough for your two layer cake. It is very good!
