Fruit Cake Cookies
1 cup Crisco
2 cups granulated sugar
3 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/4 cup milk
1 cup raisins
1 cup candied fruit mix
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together. (Add the eggs one at a time.)
Mix flour and dry ingredients together.
Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture alternately with milk.
Add fruit mix and raisins and blend well.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
