3/4 cup butter
1 lb. brown sugar
2/3 cup. evaporated milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
Add brown sugar and milk; stir to blend well.
Bring to a boil and cook for exactly 3 minutes, stirring down sides of pan frequently.
Remove from heat and cool for 2 minutes.
Beat powdered sugar into the candy until well blended; stir in vanilla and nuts.
Pour into a buttered 9x13; refridgerate.
Cut into squares when cool.
