GINGER PEACH SAUCE

Ingredients

1 tbsp oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp finely chopped ginger root
3 cups peeled and chopped peaches
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp fish sauce
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes


In a medium saucepan heat oil. Add onion, and ginger, cook and stir 1 minute. Add peaches, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and fish sauce. Bring to a simmer. Cook uncovered, 10 minutes or until peaches soften. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Serve over warm chicken or shrimp.
