- 3 lbs octopus
- 1 lb pasta pieces
- 3 onions, finely sliced
- 4 ripe tomatoes, mashed
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- salt, pepper
- Clean and boil the octopus until it softens. Drain and cut into pieces. In a saucepan, heat the oil and sauté the onions until they soften and turn white. Add the mashed tomatoes, octopus, salt and pepper. Simmer and as soon as the food is cooked, and 2 cups of water and bring to the boil slowly. Add the pasta pieces. Stir, cover and leave to simmer for 20 min. Serve hot.
