- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 1/3 cups coconut
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- Combine sugar, vanilla, butter, evaporated milk and egg yolks. Cook until thickens (about 20 minutes) stirring constantly. Add coconut and pecans after done cooking.
- Can toast coconut and pecans.
