GERMAN CHOCOLATE FROSTING
German Chocolate Frosting
I hired a girl, Jody, as an entry level just before she headed off to college. She used to make this for us and many brownie points were earned as a result of it!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 1/3 cups coconut
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
Combine sugar, vanilla, butter, evaporated milk and egg yolks. Cook until thickens (about 20 minutes) stirring constantly. Add coconut and pecans after done cooking.
Can toast coconut and pecans.
