GERMAN SOUP BALLS

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  • Combine salt and flour and work in butter.
  • Beat eggs and add to flour.
  • Stir in the milk, using only enought to make batter thin enough to drop by spoon into the boiling broth.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.

Notes

These are little dumplings that are used in soups. Germans just love their dumplings.
