- 4 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 T. butter
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- Combine salt and flour and work in butter.
- Beat eggs and add to flour.
- Stir in the milk, using only enought to make batter thin enough to drop by spoon into the boiling broth.
- Cook for 10 minutes.
NotesThese are little dumplings that are used in soups. Germans just love their dumplings.
