GINGERBREAD

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pure molasses
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups plain flour

Directions

  • Cream sugar and margarine.
  • Add beaten eggs, molasses, and milk.
  • Stir dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Bake in greased and floured pan in a 350F oven for 30 minutes or until tests done.
  • Best served with fresh whipped cream
