GINGERSNAP GRANOLA

Ingredients

  • 4 cups 5 Grain Cereal
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 1 Tablespoon dark molasses
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degree F
  • Melt butter and mix with honey - nutmeg. Pour over cereal mixture and spread out on a oiled baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until toasty brown. Cool and store in an airtight container.
  • PREP TIME 15 Min
  • COOK TIME 25 Min
  • SERVINGS about 4 1/2 cups

Notes

I think this recipe could be used with a hundred different variations, use different tea or different combinations of grains. No matter what you use, I'm sure you'll love this homemade granola.
