Backstory

My entire cookbook is recipes from my grandmother. Some are from her mother. This is one of many. So I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2cups crisco
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp cloves
  • 2tsp ginger

Directions

  • Mix well and roll into balls.
  • Dip in sugar & place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10min.
  • Remove from oven and place cookies on wax paper to cool. Enjoy!
