Glazed Carrots with Kalhua
3 cups carrots, diagonal cut
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp honey
3 Tbsp Kahlua (divided)
1 tsp cornstarch
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp parsley
1 Cook carrots in microwave on high for 3 minutes or until tender.
2 Melt butter in skillet then add brown sugar, honey, and 2 Tbsp Kahlua; cook until bubbly.
3 Combine 1 Tbsp Kahlua with cornstarch, and then add to skillet.
4 Add salt and carrots, tossing well.
5 Heat only – do not let carrots cook more (they get tough).
6 Stir in parsley and serve.
