  • 6 quick-fry pork chops, remove fat
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and
  • sliced into rings
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup apple juice


  • n a hot skillet with oil, fry chops 3 to 4 minutes per side or until brown. Add apple juice and lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Add apple rings and cook an aditional 5 to7 minutes. Place chops on a platter. Cook down juices by 1/2 and when starting to thicken, pour over chops. Place apple slices around edge. Delicious served with Au Grautin Potatoes and Green Beans.


This is one of my Mom's recipes. She loved to fix her Chops like this because she said they were so moist. Enjoy!
