BackstoryThis is one of my Mom's recipes. She loved to fix her Chops like this because she said they were so moist. Enjoy!
- 6 quick-fry pork chops, remove fat
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and
- sliced into rings
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- n a hot skillet with oil, fry chops 3 to 4 minutes per side or until brown. Add apple juice and lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Add apple rings and cook an aditional 5 to7 minutes. Place chops on a platter. Cook down juices by 1/2 and when starting to thicken, pour over chops. Place apple slices around edge. Delicious served with Au Grautin Potatoes and Green Beans.
