Goat meat with potatoes cooked in tomato sauce
52.9 oz goat meat (cut into portions)
24.6 oz potatoes (cut into quarters)
1 onion (coarsely chopped)
1 tsp garlic pulp
2 carrots (sliced)
4.8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3.5 oz sweet red wine
14.1 oz fresh tomato sauce
2 bay leaves
grated black pepper
2 tbsp fresh cut thyme
7 oz melichloro
1 tsp sugar

Step 1: Prepare the meat. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Place the meat in the saucepan and sauté for a few minutes until golden brown.
Step 2: Remove the meat from the saucepan and add the onions and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes until they soften.
Step 3: Then, combine the potatoes, carrots, salt, pepper and bay leaves to the onion and garlic and sauté for another few minutes until it gets a beautiful light golden brown colour.
Step 4: Place the meat back into the saucepan and pour in the wine.
Step 5: Allow the alcohol to evaporate for 1 minute and add the tomato sauce, thyme and sugar. Cook on low heat for about an hour, until the meat becomes tender and the sauce thickens.
Step 6: Remove the food from the heat, sprinkle with melichloro cheese and serve.
