Golden Granola with Mixed Fruit

Ingredients

3 ½ cups quick or old-fashioned uncooked oats
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
¼ cup firm packed light brownsugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract


Preheat oven at 350. Combine oats and honey set aside. Melt margarine. Add brown sugar and vanilla to the magarine.


Mix together. Spread evenly on a cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after 10 minutes.


Cool completely


Add-ins 1 cup of your favorite dried fruit, nuts, chocolate.


This granola is great as a snack or as a topping. Serve over cooked oatmeal, ice cream or y ogurt.


Store in tightly covered container
