BackstoryThis goes great on the Classic Raisin Bread Pudding recipe posted on here at BakeSpace!
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 3 tbsp. lemon juioe
- 1/4 cup butter
- Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
- Stir in water,lemon zest and juice.
- Cook over medium heat,stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in butter until combined.
- Serve immediately
