- 7 slices bread, cubed
- 3/4 pound ham, cubed
- 1/2 pound American cheese, cubed
- 3 egg, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- Layer bread, ham and cheese in 9x13" baking dish. In bowl mix eggs, mild, mustard and salt and pour over bread mixture. Top with butter that is cubed and then cut up 2 more slices of bread and sprinkle over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight or it may be frozen. Bake one hour at 325° and let stand 10 minutes before cutting so it stands up.
