Gooey Chocolate Cashew Bars
1-1/2 c. a.p. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1-1/2 c. salted cashews, coarsely
1-1/2 c. semi-sweet choc. chips
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3 Tblsps. butter, melted
2 tsps. vanilla
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all crust
ingredients in small mixer bowl.
Beat at low speed until mixture resembles coarse
Press mixture onto bottom of ungreased
13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake from 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Meanwhile stir together all topping ingredients;
Spread topping over hot partially baked crust. Continue baking for about 30 minutes
or until set.
Cut into bars.
Cover; store refrigerated.
